If you come from the north to Santa Elena on the Troncal 10, you pass the second gas station and turn right into the road AKARABICI. After about 300 meters you see the right Posada "Cabanas Roraima", compared to a pine plantation and a dirt cul de sac. At the end of this impasse is our Posada Los Pinos!

With wood carvings and wall ornaments cozy rooms of Los Pinos are kept in a colorful style that is reminiscent of the Indian tribes of Venezuela. For a "siesta", you can relax in front of your door in one of the hammocks

The double and triple rooms are all equipped with the following:
                                        Ceiling fan, refrigerator, cable TV, hairdryer                                                     

All rooms have a private bathroom with hot running water and toilet

In our Carney - that´s how the open restaurants are called - there is a bar where we delicious Mojitos, Caipirniñas, Cuba Libres or other alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are served

In Carney, we also serve breakfast and dinner. Furthermore here you can always find interesting fellow human beings with whom you can exchange ideas. Even the succesful German director and film producer Werner Herzog has already registered in our guestbook.

From the Carney there are only 4 steps to get to our creative pool with water slide and a refreshing Jacuzzi. From there you always have our children under observation. Since Sta. Elena is on 900 m above sea level, it is warm during the day and in the night it cools down.

We - Eric Buschbell and my wife Yaritza - are working in tourism since 1999. After the birth of our daughter Jessica, we have bought a house in Santa Elena, which is in the south of Venezuela, near the Brazilian Border, and started our own travel company "Backpacker Tours".

Our son Joel was born in Santa Elena in 2002.

We have gradually expanded our company and so the idea of offering our guests an accommodation option was born. The Posada "Los Pinos" was born.

At present, we have 10 rooms which can partially be used as triple rooms. In autumn 2015 we will going to add 8 more rooms. At the Caney, we offer our guests the benefits of a restaurant.
